Reason Why You Will Fail As an Internet Marketer
Many people have aspirations of earning money online only to have them crushed once they find how difficult it is. People keep making the same common mistakes over and over again that make them fail miserably. Here are the reasons why you won’t make it as an internet marketer.
You are not patient enough. Earning money online takes time! The hardest part about this profession is that you do not see money up front. There is no secure paycheck every two weeks within this profession. It might take six months for you to starting earning money. Many people are blinded by ads stating that they can earn up to $5,000 posting links on Google. It’s possible to earn money; however, these people do not tell you how long it’s taken them to start earning money. You must have patience within this profession.
You learn from the wrong group of people. Internet marketing “gurus” and Search Engine Optimization “gurus” are a dime a dozen. Many people get sucked into the “I’ve made $10,000 from following these simple steps” type of E-books and when they don’t make money, they quit. This goes with the first point, if you don’t have patience, you won’t earn money.
You do not target the right keywords. Many people try to make money by blogging about high paying keywords. However, many people learn the hard way that not all high paying keywords make you money. Proper keyword research includes looking at the buying potential of each keyword as well as the cost per click, click through rate, buyer potential and daily traffic.
People that fail at earning money from home do not target profitable niches. Choosing the right keyword is crucial for earning money (especially from Google Adsense). Many people focus on un-profitable keywords and later learn that all their hard work was in vain because the keyword they chose did not produce profitable traffic. Targeting the wrong type of traffic is another way to fail at Internet Marketing. For me, my ultimate goal is to earn a profit from putting up a blog or website, not to make friends and get “followers”. Social networking traffic never converts well as these people will not click on your ads. They will be great friends and will leave you poor.
The reasons listed above are only a few ways that you will fail as an Internet Marketer. Start learning the right way to earn money. There are many websites dedicated to showing people how to earn money online for free.
Web Content Management Software That Puts Your Wordpress Blog Site On Steroids
Are you a webmaster who builds wordpress blog sites? I just recently heard about an awesome web content management program. In 10 years of internet marketing this content management software has finally made me rich. Who would have thought a fully SEO optimized wordpress blog site could be so easy to make.
I start by first researching my chosen keywords. Next step is to choose a template from 200+ selections. Then I cut and paste the keywords of choice into my handy dandy web content management system, press submit and shazaam!!! I have a fully search engine optimized wordpress blog site. Well, there is a few more little settings to tweak it further such as putting content on autopilot and also filling the site with content for the first time. Knowing how to blog and use social networking sites is an important part of internet marketing today.
Let me be the one to tell you about the most amazing web content management software ever to be designed. The coolest thing about this new content management software I use is it’s ability to quickly generate a fully search engine optimized wordpress blog site. You likely already know how important search engine optimization is in your marketing efforts. This does much more then that.
It didn’t take me long to learn how to master this totally “must have” web content management software. It only takes 2 to 3 hours from start to finish to produce a fully search engine optimized wordpress blog site. That includes the time it takes to research a profitable keyword topic. The site is also filled with content from 7 different content providers including 2 which provide video content. One of them is youtube.
Can you imagine how much time you would save by automatically having relevant content like youtube videos published on your wordpress blog site? That would then set you free to simply get your anchor tags out there so that your site will quickly rise in the ranks of the search engines. I am not going to reveal the most efficient way to do that because you should already know if you are in the game. I can tell you that you will be provided with that information if you get the content management system for yourself.
As soon as the wordpress blog site is done I immediately go about getting it socially bookmarked on all the high pr social bookmarking sites. If you are a webmaster and you want to learn to blog like a pro I would like to suggest that you install a wordpress site. Wordpress blog sites can easily be installed from within the cpanel of your hosting account using Simple Scripts or Fantastico which most hosting accounts come with.
Personally I use what I call wordpress on steroids now when using my new web content management software. If you aren’t ready for the pro level where you can easily build a couple of new websites before lunch I would suggest you build you first wordpress blog site and get a general understanding of how it works. It’s very intuitive and let’s you know when it’s time to update.
Haven’t you had enough of not having good enough web content management software to do the job effectively? Are you over your dread of actually being successful yet like I had to be? If you are ready, click on my recommended signature link after you finish reading the rest of this article about web content management system.
You may already know what you are doing like I do and are finding and claiming 2 or 3 new niches before lunch. That being the case you are likely already using the same web content management system as I am. In the last week I built 17 new web sites. Wish they had this web content management system 10 years ago when I started marketing online.
To sum it all up, what you need if you want to succeed in internet marketing with wordpress blog sites is a decent web content management system. Without the best web content management system a webmaster is like a fish out of water as the competition may have it and be using it effectively.
Hope you enjoyed this article and can learn something useful. Don’t forget to check my signature link if you want to find out more.
Making Paid Search More Effective

Paid search is a great way to get web traffic to your site from the major search engines. It also can drain your marketing budget in very quickly if not done properly. Someone is going to profit from your paid search campaign. Is it going to be the search engines or or us? Search engines make their money from clicks on our ads. The more clicks on our ads the more money they get. The real goal should be “more conversions with less clicks and lower cost”. Here are some strategies that should help.
1. Do not use Content Network in Google when you first set up a campaign default setting is set “on”. There are two things that you need to consider before turning on the content match. The first is: “The website that is hosting our ad gets paid every time someone clicks on the ad”. Most click fraud happens is when an owner of a site clicks on these ads. The second is: “Individuals who click on these ads are most often, at the research end of the buying cycle. Limit those who click on your ads to those who are on the buying side of the cycle.
2. Search Terms. The more general the term, less qualified the lead and the more the cost. What I try to think about what terms are going to get my ideal customer to my site.
3. Keyword “types” There are three types of keywords “Broad”, “Phrase” and “Exact”. The rule of thumb that I use is: for single word phrases, use exact match and for search phrases that are two to three words, used “phrase matching”. I am also experimenting with using “exact” matching for these terms as well. The more specific the search term is to what you are offering and who your ideal client is, the more qualified to lead will be. Better a small number of qualified leads than a large number of leads that waste your time and ultimately cost a lot more money.
4. Just a couple thoughts on writing creatives (ad copy). Use the following in your “headline” box: keyword: “your main keyword. This will put your keyword phrase into the headline. You want to attract only your ideal client (someone who is looking for exactly what you have to offer) so be specific. Add at least one of your “unique selling propositions”. This can be very challenging because of the space limitations. Rule of thumb, find out what your competitors are doing and do something different. For example, if everyone is offering free shipping, use one of your other unique selling propositions.
5. Landing pages require a great deal of thought. Landing page have one purpus, answer the questions that are on the mind of the searcher, the reason for the search. He entered his search terms because he has a problem, needs a solution or is in some kind of “pain”. You have about two seconds to convince him that you understand what he is going through and what he needs. You must show him that you possess the answers to his needs. Don’t just send them to your home page unless your home page can accomplish the above. Once you connect with your searcher you must have a call to action. You must be very specific and clear about the next steps. Have your “phone number” or “contact us button” on every page.
6. Track everything. Paid search is not an exact science. It takes time to set up and optimized your campaigns to get the results that you are looking for. Monitor your campaigns weekly to catch market changes, account issues or even site issues. Google, Yahoo and MSN have free tracking tools that work great.
There is good money in paid search, if done correctly. If you are new to this or do not have several hours a week, it might be a lot cheaper to find someone who knows what they are doing to help you rather than lose thousands of dollars trying to figure it out yourself.
